Sogang Business School (SBS) has been pursuing the purpose of raising leaders of this society possessing high morality and advanced management knowledge through education since establishment in 1980. As the result, SBS is greatly contributing to development of economy and enterprises in Korean as more than eight thousand graduates of it are participating actively in government organizations as well as enterprises as a professional.
SBS suggested the educational purpose of raising global managers with international competitiveness in order to raise leaders of this society possessing the greatest ability for management and administration meeting the 21st century which represents business management without the bounevries of a country and active development of the information and communication industry utilizing science and technology and the technology of communications. SBS is endeavoring to create knowledge applicable to development of various subjects, education considering teamwork to be important and business practice in order to provide the best management education in the interior as part of efforts to achieve this purpose. Development of teaching materials and examples of management and translation and introduction of foreign examples are encouraged and actively utilized in a lecture. Also, we positively support the publication of theses foreign prominent scientific journals as well as domestic prominent scientific journals for reinforcement of study results of professors. In addition, we strive for internationalization by cooperating with foreign prominent graduate schools of business administration corresponding to the present circumstances of globalization.
SBS does not satisfy the present conditions and continue our efforts to achieve the purpose of raising competitive global managers possessing high morality and international competitive study level by unifying professors, students and alumni.
