Sogang Business School (SBS) launched the Sogang Executive MBA (SEMBA) Program, a top-quality degree program that was created from the School’s long experience in offering education of graduate-level business management programs. This Program is designed to provide students with broad knowledge and management know-how that are demanded by business managers in future years. The Program’s coursework combines strengths of the School’s other MBA and executive programs and offers top-level education.

SEMBA’s education is offered during Fridays and Saturdays, designed to provide learning opportunities to business managers who are fully occupied with jobs during weekdays. The Program’s curriculum features market-based cases and up-to-date management theories, giving students technical know-how that they could apply to day-to-day business decision-making processes.

In addition to professional skills, the Program also offers students opportunities to catch up with various up-to-date market trends and topics on liberal arts and humanities through lectures given by professional experts in specific fields. Also, students can improve their business communication capability in English through taking the Business English course every week so that they could deal easily with cases of presiding over business meetings held in English and of carrying out business negotiations in English. The Program also provides overseas tour and training sessions in which students visit business schools in the United States and Europe to join seminars held jointly with them and make on-site visits to excellent businesses overseas.

The School’s SEMBA, thus, is a top-end educational program to enable students to learn all kind of management knowledge and business ethics in a comfortable facility in the School with all-out student service. In short, our program is moving ahead with the slogan of “You name it; we have it.” In contrast to this tailored learning environment, the Program also enacts a rigorous oversight of students’ learning, and thus, students who fail to meet the requirements for the degree will be left out.

Compared to other similar programs in the country, a notable strength of SEMBA is its curriculum designed systematically and flexibly to tailor to individual student’s demand. All of our education and academic management have conducted in a water-tight way so that each student takes the most benefit from the Program. Also, compared to other business schools, tuition for this program is priced relatively modestly; yet, students get the highest value from the SEMBA education.
